The company

SheepIT SARL-S is a one person company in Luxembourg, registered under RCS B267383. I am Emmanuel Mouton, gérant and the only person who works on your systems. There is no bench behind me, and no account manager between us: the person who writes the code is the person you talk to.

How an engagement usually goes

It starts with a problem you can state in one sentence, even a vague one. I spend the first days reading the system rather than proposing anything, because a proposal written before reading the code is a guess with an invoice attached. Then I write down what I found, including the parts that contradict what I was told, and we decide together what is worth doing.

I work in the open: decisions get written down, with the reason and the alternative that was rejected. Six months later, that is what lets your team change the decision instead of inheriting it.

What I take on

Systems that have to stay correct under load, under audit, and under requirements that keep moving. Architecture work on platforms that cannot be switched off. AI agents doing back office work, with the boundaries and the escalation paths written before the agent runs. Technical leadership where the code and the decisions are the same job.

What I refuse

Work I cannot do well, said plainly rather than subcontracted: I have never trained a model, and I have never run an engineering organisation. I do not take engagements where the architecture is already decided and the only thing wanted is hands, and I do not write a recommendation I would not implement myself.

What happens when you write

The message reaches my inbox, and I answer it myself, usually within a day or two. If what you need is not what I do, I say so in the reply rather than booking a call to say it. What happens to the data you send is described in the privacy policy.
